Description
Originally trained as a sociologist, Suzanne discovered photography after breaking her back in a boating accident. During a long rehabilitation whilst learning to walk again,
she signed up for a photography course.
Inherently shy, over the years Suzanne has learned to approach people and gain access to places she never thought she would - going beyond her boundaries to give her images a uniqueness. Here she covers her philosophy to travel and documentary photography, and shares how to overcome the fear to get the photos you want.
Suzanne is an accomplished photographer with a profound interest in worldwide cultures, working to bring awareness to social issues with humanitarian organisations such as WaterAid, CARE, and Médecins Sans Frontières. Suzanne’s work has graced the covers of international newspapers and travel magazines and bouncing between fine art and editorial, she has enjoyed numerous exhibitions including at the British Museum and the iconic hotel La Mamounia in Marrakech now has a floor dedicated to her work.
