About your local photographer
I am Irish by birth and have been living here in Tenerife since 1994. I've been a professional photographer for over 30 years, starting my career in London, where I studied photojournalism at the London College of Printing in the 1980's. When I first found photography I found a way to creatively express myself through visual ways. I also realised very quickly that photography is a medium which would never bore me, there is always something new to learn or a new subject to explore. It has taught me to look at the world with an enquiring eye, to see things beyond the surface.Over these years I've done portraits, events and reportage for many editorial clients. Moving to Tenerife I was enthralled by the rugged volcanic landscape which led me down the road of landscape photography and the discovery of a new and different view of the land and nature which I love to explore and share with fellow photographers.
