A six day excursion into the wilderness of Ethiopia, from grass lands to the roof top of Africa and deep into the forest of the Bale Mountains. A Photography experience that will have you up close in person .
Day One
In the morning we will take flight for an hour from Addis Ababa to Arba Minch, South Ethiopia. On arrival we will head to Paradise lodge and relax and regroup for a bit. From there we will head into the Dorze Village near Arba Minch and spend some time with the friendly locals and get to see their traditionally built cottages. During our visit we will get the chance to experience traditional music and dance scenes accompanied with traditional bread and drinks. In the evening we will head back to the lodge and have dinner at the restaurant that offers a breath taking view over the forest and both lakes of Chamo and Abaya.

Day Two
After an early breakfast at the lodge we will head out for a boat ride to lake Chamo where we will see local fishermen and get to have a close up view of the resident crocodiles and hippos. From there we will head to the Nech Sar National Park and visit plenty of wild life. After a quick snack on arrival we will trek around the park looking for Zebras and other wildlife. We will then head back to the boat and back to the lodge for a late lunch to take a break from the hot sun. after that we will head to the crocodile market where we will find plenty more crocodiles and end our day back at the lodge.

Day Three
After an early morning breakfast, we leave Arba minch behind and we drive straight to the outstanding Bale Mountains National Park. On the way we will stop by in Shashemene for lunch and continue our drive to the park. We will see some breathtaking sceneries. Once we get to the park we will see the Gaysay grassland, which is the first part of the National park. We will get to see some endemic mammals like the Nyala and Minilik’s bushbuck and plenty of endemic birds. We then leave the gaysay grassland behind and drive straight to the Sanetti plateau, the second part of the park. At the plateau we will get to see the endemic and endangered mammal of Ethiopia, the Ethiopian wolf and plenty of raptors from a very close range. We will pass by the second highest mountain of Ethiopia, Tulu Dimtu and head to the last part of the National Park, Harrena forest, where we will have a chance of witnessing the Black Maned Lions of the mountains. We then head straight to the lodge built at the heart of the forest, The Bale Mountain Lodge.

Day Four
After having breakfast at the wilderness lodge we will go for a game drive around the dense forest. We will get a really good opportunity to get up close with plenty of Wild Life including the forest lions. In the forest we will also go for a trek then head back to the lodge for some rest. In the evening we go for a game drive for a more adventures time to see wild animals who prefer to be seen at night. we then get back to the lodge for dinner and beverages.

Day Five
After having breakfast, we will drive to Hawassa. On the way we will pass by the Sanetti Plateau and get the chance to see the Ethiopian wolf again. Then after a quick stop at Dinsho to have lunch and coffee, we head straight to the beautiful city of Hawassa. We will check in a the Haile Resort and have dinner and an evening of relaxation in the spa and take a swim if you chose.

Day Six

In the morning, we will head out to the surrounding area of the resort and do some bird watching and maybe take a dip in the pool. From there we will head to the airport and fly back to Addis Ababa which will end our tour.
