Description

We will go near Imlil, to Aguerziroual, which is a hamlet of poets; Aguer meaning Say and Ziroual meaning poetry in Berber,
It is 2h from Marrakech towards the Toubkal reserve.
We set out very early from Marrakech to arrive in the morning ready to hike.
The days walk can be pure wilderness and rugged majestic imposing mountains of the region of the Toubkal or we can take a route that is a mix of berber hamlets, an insight of the local life of the men and women, children and animals living in those hard landscapes, mountains, nature depending on wishes and fitness levels.
This day can cover a range of photographic themes, along with honing your skills and expanding your range of knowledge . The primary theme is of course the mountains, their identity and their inhabitant and culture but there can be any ways to express the many layers to these themes ranging from abstract to documentary narrative. The locals can be friendly but taking photographs is something to be done with care and a skill to develop.

In the evening we debrief the images and come back to Marrakech the next morning.
When possible we can stop at a berber market on our way down to Marrakech.
