Description
Join us in the capital for a Day (on the Saturday) or extend it to make a Weekend Workshop if you wish! We explore the city at day and night and visit some of its striking cityscapes and architectural gems! The workshop will be from London Bridge to Tower Bridge along the Thames both north and south of the river and into the City of London, taking in many of London's iconic sights and stunning architecture. On the weekend option, we go further afield towards Westminster and West London.
This workshop is a great opportunity to photograph many of London's great sights, both in daylight and after dark and learn about landscape and cityscape photography. You'll learn how to create images with impact by using striking perspective and other compositional ideas, the superb effects of long exposure photography and much more. You'll learn to capture images like the professionals more quickly than you ever thought possible!
Nigel will be demonstrating a range of techniques in landscape and architectural photography. There will also be plenty of tips on composition in photography and developing your own individual style; Nigel also has a range of filters which you can try on the workshop. You'll also get a great range of course notes in PDF format on composition and technique from each workshop.

Navan CC (Ireland) hosted a zoom presentation on the "Essentials of Composition in Landscape photography" by NF on 21st September. His talk was clear, concise, very informative and entertaining. His presentation had something for photographers of all levels of skill and experience. I would strongly recommend him for this presentation our club is looking forward to booking him for his other presentations, which is a recommendation in itself.
